VOLTSECTORS is a first-person survival-horror marketplace. You lay out a facility, test-play it in the browser, submit it, and once it is approved it goes on sale. Players buy it with Volts. You keep about half of what they pay.
It is not open yet. Leave an address and you will hear from us when it is.
We will email that address when VOLTSECTORS opens. If you sign up again with the same address, nothing breaks — it stays one entry.
A sector is a floor plan you draw. The mode, the props and the lighting follow from it — so two sectors on the same theme play differently if the space is different.
These six clips were recorded from layouts written by hand to show six different kinds of space. They are not sectors anyone built to be played, and they are not for sale — they are here because they are the honest answer to "what does one look like".
Every sector sells for a price in Volts, the currency players buy with. Your cut is 70% of the sale price, less 2.9% payment processing. You cash out earned Volts at $7 per 1,000.
That is better than most places that will let you build something and sell it. We are saying that plainly rather than pretending the number is bigger than it is: the platform keeps the other half, and roughly three cents of every dollar never reaches either of us because the card networks take it first.
Two things worth knowing before you count on it. Earnings are held for 30 days before they can be cashed out, which is the chargeback window. And publishing is invite-only at launch — joining this list is not the same as being able to publish, and we will say which one you are getting when we write to you.
