Build a sector.
Sell it.

VOLTSECTORS is a first-person survival-horror marketplace. You lay out a facility, test-play it in the browser, submit it, and once it is approved it goes on sale. Players buy it with Volts. You keep about half of what they pay.

It is not open yet. Leave an address and you will hear from us when it is.

How publishing works

Worth knowing before you leave an address, because some of it is stricter than people expect.

  1. Publishing is invite-only at launch. An invite is a single-use code. Redeeming it makes you a creator and assigns a founding number — assigned once, never reissued, yours whatever happens afterwards. Joining this list is not the same as getting one, and we will say which you are getting when we write to you.
  2. You build in the browser and test-play it yourself. The builder grades the layout while you work — dead ends, chokepoints, whether the objectives can actually be reached — so most problems surface before you submit anything.
  3. Submitting runs the automatic checks first. If something fails you get the list of what to fix, not a rejection. A failed submission is not recorded against you; you change the layout and submit again, and it comes back as attempt 2 with the history kept.
  4. Then a person plays it. A human reviewer opens the sector, plays it, and either publishes it or sends it back with a note. You see that note in full, in your own words back to you, not a rejection code.
  5. Nothing is published without a preview clip. A sector that has no recorded clip cannot be approved at all — the storefront refuses it — because a listing nobody can see is not a listing.
  6. Earnings clear after 30 days. Every sale stamps a ledger row that becomes cashable 30 days later. That is the chargeback window; it is not us holding your money, it is the card networks being able to take a sale back inside it.
  7. Cashing out is a request, and a person actions it. There is no automatic payout run. You ask, it becomes a record, and someone pays it. We would rather say that than imply a machine you have not met is handling your money.
You keep
about half.

Every sector sells for a price in Volts, the currency players buy with. Your cut is 70% of the sale price, less 2.9% payment processing. You cash out earned Volts at $7 per 1,000.

Someone buys your sector300 Volts
They paid, roughly$3.00
You are credited203 Volts
Which cashes out at$1.42
Your end of itabout 47%

That is better than most places that will let you build something and sell it. We are saying that plainly rather than pretending the number is bigger than it is: the platform keeps the other half, and roughly three cents of every dollar never reaches either of us because the card networks take it first.
